Insurance & Fees

If you have out-of-network benefits, our billing team will be happy to help determine how these can be applied. We will submit claims on your behalf and request that the insurance company send the funds directly to me, so you will not have to wait for reimbursement. We are not an ‘in-network provider,’ even though we take insurance and work with companies such as Aetna, Cigna, United, Blue Cross, GHI, and others. This means that we are able to maintain a greater level of confidentiality with your medical records.

Your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your insurance coverage. If you are without insurance or if your insurance is limited, we will make every effort to work with you to find a payment plan that works for you.

  • Open-ended sessions: These weekly sessions are a safe space where individuals can explore, receive guidance, and gain insight into aspects that may impact their current stressors or situations.
  • Structured sessions: For some, exploring structured therapy sessions may be most beneficial. Through these sessions, our clinicians and patients can develop a treatment plan, practice specific skills or review certain interactions.

All clinicians can perform open-ended and structured approaches. We can also combine these therapy methods if needed.

How often you utilize our therapy services will depend on your specific needs. Some patients have weekly sessions, while others come at less frequent intervals. If you have a particular concern that requires additional support, such as a breakup, you might opt to attend therapy more often.

When meeting with your therapist, you will work together to determine how frequently to schedule appointments. Depending on your needs, our New York psychology services also include support between scheduled sessions, specialized consultations and home visits.
